Neuro-fitness Training

What is Neuro-fitness? Neuro-fitness training improves motor skills, decision making and visual acuity, and reaction time both on and off the field. For athletes, it provides another training option in addition to their current plan. Neuro-fitness training provides a competitive edge for teams and individuals. For seniors, it can decrease cognitive decline and improve motor skills.

Until now, training to improve performance in sports has been limited to developments from weight training, cardiovascular fitness, practice, skills /drills, scouting, and film study. Kephart Integrative Medicine is proud to offer a new training component. Neuro-fitness training provides athletes an advantage over their competition. Improve memory, reaction time, peripheral vision, hand-eye coordination, pattern recognition, and decision making. This new training translates to better game play and athletic performance.

Falling is a major clinical problem in elderly people, with limited effective interventions. Neuro-fitness training may be effective at preventing falls through improved reaction time, hand-eye coordination, peripheral vision, and decision making. Stimulating the brain with the help of Neuro-fitness can support mental sharpness and decrease cognitive decline.
