Owner and Founding Physician
Eric M. Kephart, D.O. is the owner and founding physician of Modern Sports medicine and Wellness. Dr. Kephart is a board-certified, fellowship-trained primary care sports medicine physician. He is certified in Advanced Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy with over a decade of experience using MSK ultrasound and interventional orthopedics.

Dr. Kephart has lectured at local, state, and national conferences, including Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association (POMA), Osteopathic Medical Education Conference (OMED), and American Osteopathic Academy of Sports Medicine (AOASM).
Dr. Kephart holds a BS in Molecular Biology from Grove City College, an MS in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from Middle Tennessee State University, and a DO from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
He is a loving husband to his wife Lindsay and proud father of their four children. As a former NCAA athlete turned triathlete, Dr. Kephart understands the struggle of both an active lifestyle and natural aging. He is passionate about restoring health and helping individuals feel their best.
Office Administrator
Lindsay is Dr. Kephart’s wife and the Office Administrator at Modern Sports Medicine and Wellness. Lindsay has applied her organizational skills and her passion for care to help every patient feel at home along their path to healthy living.
In her spare time Lindsay enjoys reading, yoga, and watching her kids play sports.
Front Desk
Cara brings two decades of customer service experience to the front desk. Also a certified pilates instructor, she understands the role self-care plays in good healthcare. Cara enjoys interacting with and assisting clients to ensure all needs are properly met.

Laurie wears many hats at the office. She does everything from answering the phones, checking in patients, billing, and assisting Dr. Kephart with procedures. She brings over 20 years experience as a lab technician. Laurie has four daughters who play collegiate and professional soccer. In her spare time she enjoys going to the beach and concerts.
